This is so cool except for the front mounted distributor which to my knowledge was never on Chevrolets. It is on the Buicks, and Oldmobiles. As a car nut and gear head you can't deny the coolness of little engine.

Here's the latest Hot Racing upgrade for the HPI E10. It looks exactly like the HPI E10 alum. upgrade with the exception of the color and the chrome countersunk washer. I wonder if this one is more solid and stable than the HPI option. I would love to test this option... uh hmmm! Hot Racing *wink *wink... As you may all know I am not sponsored by Hot Racing but I do love what they have done for the E10s. They have made great products for my beloved HPI E10. I can only hope that someday I can be their tester...

HET 1801 - Rear Mount Heat Sink Motor Plate

This option right here has been out for a long time and I have this on my E10 and it is solid and stable. The name says "Rear Mount" but I have mines mounted on the front and its great. This a good upgrade and in fact one I would recommend.

Food Babes

Wow, I could not believe how I have not blogged about anything here for so long. So much has come and gone and so many events and topics that I could have blogged about. Anyways, life goes on and on to a new beginning.

Today, I thought I'd bring forth a topic thats pretty near and dear to my heart in regards to health and food. It jus so happens that while on my Facebook page I came across a food blogger's page who is huge into health and fighting the big companies to put better ingredients in their products. I immediately became a fan and the icing on the cake is that she is very beautiful. So beautiful that she reminded me of another beautiful food babe. My very first food babe crush (shhhh don't tell my significant other...LOL, she knows about her), Ms. Giada De Laurentiis. Doesn't that name just sounds heavenly? A great cook and looks like Natalie Portman. 

Now that I stopped salivating and back to the Food Babe; she goes by here Facebook name, The Food Babe.  I thought to myself these 2 beautiful women are extremely powerful and insanely attractive. Which will be great assets on awareness to good health and great food. It just basically a fun thing for me to bring about. Real talk though, I am very grateful for these beautiful women for what they have done  and about to do. They will bring about such great awareness to those that will otherwise scroll through FB pages and blogs and simply pass them if they were not attractive about health and wellness. Thats the honest truth right there because thats how I was hooked onto them at first. Then what really got me was that how intelligent they both are and how they both carried themselves... very attractive.

I truly do thank these ladies and very appreciative of what they are doing. Hopefully someday I will have the great honor of meeting them and have the opportunity of knowing their intelligence. A fan can only dream.

Happy Holidays from HPI / HB

I got this mail today from HPI Racing and although I knew what it was 'cus I had one last year from HPI I'm still amazed by the gesture. Staff members signed it and best of all the address and name was hand written and not an address label. Now that showed some thought and respect. The littlest thing counts a whole lot.

This is why I will remain loyal to HPI/HB 'cus they showed some care and sincerity. I know its just a card but it showed so much more. Does your RC Drift Brand mail you a card and add some personal touches to it? If not then I don't know what to say. I mean you probably spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars buying your favorite brand's producsts and they could at least return the favor even by a simple annual Christmas Card with a personal touch... I'm just sayin...

Rules for the High Society Comp
Body Comp- Body has to be MOUNTED!!!!! to a rolling chassis(doesnt have to drive).the whole High Society Team will judge the body comp!!
Tandem Drift - Basic drift rules apply on clean line,drifting angle,and speed.
first is - 1 or 2 qualifying laps(looking for the hot lap)
Points system are - Best out of 5 points(clipping point) Per run,the driver that drifts closer than their opponent at each clipping point, will get awarded 1 point per clipping point. the driver with the most points at the end of 2 runs will move on to the next round.
Hot lap - is where the crowd is wowed and amazed at a driver on overall performance drifting and style(including body looks).WILL BE AWARDED FOR THAT!

Discover DJ – new toy

This right here is Ion’s Discover DJ Computer DJ System that retails for about $110. I’ve had my eyes set on these since last year and thought it would be something good for my arsenal. I know what y’all are thinking, yes it looks like a toy and yes its not really that accurate, and yes its for minor/newbie DJs. I don’t disagree with you, but then again I do not call myself a DJ nor even dream of becoming one. I for one just needed something that can do the job that I needed it to do, simply just blend and a little bit of scratching, looping, droppin mixes. This is one that will definitely come in handy with a lot of visual projects that will be coming in the near future. But I did not want to fork out $100 for it only to be disappointed. So I kind of forgot about it…

Until yesterday while shopping at Toys R Us and I bumped in to this stack with an awesome price tag.

Do you see the price of this thing? Now tell me how in hell could you pass up on this deal? So I took it home, and immediately tried to play with it. I also started to reflect on my research on this from last year. I started to do more research on it and checked the YouTube vids and seen people’s comments on it. Yes, I agree with a lot of them vids and at the same time amazed at what some people or DJs can do with it.

Here’s an example of one and this happens to be the best one that I’ve seen so far.

Real talk, for the price compared to its capability… I say its worth it.

Bad Boys II - The Date Scene

This scene right here is f'n timeless. I know most of my peeps that have daughters knows about this scene. I know I will definitely do this when its my turn. But instead of a .45 piece, I will be showing em a 50 cal. bullet and engraver. So that I can engrave the dude's name on the bullet in front of em. Some of my boys already know this scene by heart.

I know I'm not the only father that takes this scene to heart. Its funny but hits home for most dads.

Here's my 1st replica project for the year. I was suppose to do this last year but haven't had the time to do it. I had much more important projects to do first.

I bumped into this video while youtube surfing one day during my lunch break. As you may have known that I am not a Nissan guy. I did owned a Nissan Pulsar and a Nissan Maxima back then of which I wasnt too impressed with. Back to me being not a fan of Nissan but rather a Toyota and Chevy/GM fanatic.

Until this vid I recently have much more respect for the Nissan Z specially this Z becaus a fellow Pilipino designed it. That to me is something huge and must be recognized. Im a proud Pinoy and this makes me even the more proud of Pilipinos. As the saying goes, "you put a Pilipino anywhere in the world and we will become the best at what we do".

So big ups to the 370 Z designer and keep on giving the Nismo lovers more and more amazing designed automobiles.

My latest addiction. Daym it. I told myself that I would never get hooked on any games specially on facebook. Then this Car Town game came oneday via a facebook friend "Wanna Race" request and then "click!"... that was it.
I spend about an hour to 3 on this thing when Im on it. Its fun for anyone who is into cars and customizing cars and races. The garage portion is good too... now I just gotta get more coins to get an xB that costs about $55k in coins...

Trust me you don't wanna check it out...lol

Wheely King

These things are so much fun. Makes me want to get one of them. Team Slideways members were sampling Jay's Wheely King and every single member had a blast with it. I was pulling and holding wheelies all over the place and even accidentally ran over G-Styles Cyclone Hachi twice. I think some if not all of Team Slideways might be in the market for one... look out.
