The Hawaii NNL show was definitely a success in my opinion. So many fine builds and heavy competition. I had a blast hangin with fellow builders from way back and new builder friends. The kids had a blast with the tracks to satisfy their boredom and a Make It, Take It build for the kis to build and have. There was also a small RC Crawler open track for the crawlers and the HSM Landrover crawler handled the track pretty well except for the high fall that cracked the bumper and fender. There were not too many vendors selling model kits which was a bit of disappoinment because I was really looking forward to buy some imports.
I want to thank all the people that stopped by the booth and took advantage of what little model kits I had. Also for the kind compliments on the builds. The kids and kids at heart surely enjoyed the 1/24 scale Action Statics '62 & '68 Impala hoppers and 1/20 scale Explorer dancer. Hopefully next time HSM will have more and better builds.
Want to thank HIMCC, Scale Model Magazine, Gregg Hutchings, Sponsors, and all the vendors & entrants for making this event a success. Many more please...
