Ube Good...ness

Here's an amazing dessert made with Ube. This is the Spanish inspired Ensemada. A really soft, moist, and a bit goowy bread or muffin; however you wanna refer it. All I know is that this so good and you can get this here in Hawaii only at the NEX outside kiosk. A lot of places have it in California though. I had first one at the airport in Manila.



I bump into this pic while browsing through Google image looking for pics of actual Ube. I've seen a lot of different types of foods made from Ube and I have never seen a donut yet. This looks really good. I'd love to try this if I ever make it or in New York at the restaurant where this is made from.
